Daisy and Poppy

It has been two weeks since we brought Poppy home......this was Daisy on the first day....she would not come out of the van......HA!

Five days later......Daisy can tolerate her a little bit, but she still growls at her when she gets near...

This was day ten......look how close Poppy is to her.........I think it is the beginning of a beautiful friendship!!!

Spring Break........2009

The kids spent part of their spring break in Baraboo, WI with Jim's sister and her family! They also went to meet their new cousin Jack Douglas Brinker! This is the new mother with her new little boy.....she is already back in her skinny jeans....Jack is only a week old......have you ever heard such a thing....I am still trying to get back into my jeans, and my kids are 11 years old!!!

While the kids were gone, Jim and I went out with some of his cousins...........I haven't laughed that much in a long time! They were mad at me, because they are never on my blog..........

Finally!!

After two years of orthodontist appointments Monday was finally the day!!! Issy couldn't even sleep, she was so excited! Poor thing only has the top braces......we have to wait for the top teeth to move until she gets the bottom ones.
