Fundraiser....

My dad was diagnosed with esophageal cancer two and a half years ago. He would hear stories about people that couldn't afford pain medication, gas to drive to treatments, have enough money for every day necessities. We started a "fund" in honor of my dad to help families affected with cancer. They don't know who we are, and we don't know who they are. My dads radiologist/oncologist and his staff are our eyes, and ears. If they see or hear of someone that needs financial assistance, they help them out. This year my dads Dr., and his wife offered to host the party for us! It was so much fun, and we all hated to leave their home!!!!.

The party was a huge success, and we hope to help a few families this holiday season!!!!! We are also celebrating my dads remission!!

Report Cards

We are so proud of our kids!!!!! Grant, Caroline and Isabelle all got straight A's!!!! They sure take after their mom!!!! HA!!! My mom and dad have some friend that give their grandchildren $100.00 for each A they get on their report card! As soon as we got home from conferences I called my mom and dad and asked how much they were going to give for each A? I told her she could just write us a check for $1500.00! I am still waiting.............

Eight years ago the adoption of my nephew Ben was finalized, and three years ago the adoption of my nephew Nicholas was finalized. What a blessing they are to our family!!!!!!! We love you!!!

Mercy Me!

Jim and I and the kids went to see Mercy Me at church Friday night. It was a great evening, the kids loved it! Also a surprise visit from Bart at Saturday night evening church service. Awesome!!
